Amada Senior Care Nashville

My great Aunt Julia was put into Faire Acres nursing home toward the end of her life. When we visited her, no one was tending to her. It was like she was left there to die. Unfortunately she did pass away there. Years later I was at Faire Acres to sing Christmas carols with my high school chorus. It was a select few of us that went. Anyway I saw an elderly woman in a wheelchair set aside like she was a piece of furniture. She was crying. Staff passed her and the other residents like they were a nobody. I felt so bad for this woman. I didn't know what was making her sad but being ignored by the staff was not helping. I couldn't stay for long because we were singing throughout the facility. I quickly gave her a hug and for that moment, she stopped crying. For that single moment she felt wanted and cared for.
Many times we dismiss our elderly like their dead weight. They need tender loving care as well. They want to feel wanted and important. This is what Amada Senior Care Nashville is all about.
Founded by Kevin Fehr and his wife Kelly, Amada Senior Care Nashville is based in Franklin, Tennessee and is "one of the leading senior care companies in the region." Their staff is well trained to provide for non-medical needs such as running errands, preparing meals, assist in dressing, and light housekeeping.
They genuinely care about you and your well being. Those with financial concerns can find comfort because they (the staff) will help you to lay out your options that will work best for you.
I do want to give you an idea on how great this is. First I wish there was something like this for my great Aunt Julia. Granted I was very young when she passed and didn't understand all the problems (medical) she had but I feel that had there been something like Amada Senior Care Nashville, the family could have had opened their eyes to more options than a facility like Faire Acres. Secondly, I know Kevin Fehr personally because he was my chemistry teacher in 10th grade and one of my favorite teachers at that. Unfortunately for my high school, we lost a great teacher but he took another adventure and actually that was the year he married his wife. Anyway he is a very caring, genuine individual who is so down to earth and welcoming. That's how I know what a great business this is. It doesn't surprise me that he started a business like this because as dedicated a teacher as he was and his dedication to his students, I know he infuses that energy in everything he does. This is a man that truly cares and is looking out for you.
