Gary Shandling

Today my sister, Samantha, tagged me in a post which I thought was another joke post but instead the headline said that Gary Shandling died. As many did, I stared at the headline in disbelief. We just watched Captain America: Winter Soldier, we just saw Gary Shandling hail  Hydra.
The funny thing is that the first thing that came to mind was his skit with Conan at the Emmys as Conan's love interest. I've watched The Larry Sanders Show and enjoyed his countless talk show appearances. I even caught him on The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson when I was a kid.
I think the tribute Conan did on his show was spectacular and genuine. He always speaks from the heart when things like this happen and that's why I love watching Conan. He even shared the clip from the Emmys that still cracks me up. It's still hard to believe this talented man is gone. You are missed Gary. Many of us will surely be re-watching your classic moments and be reminded of why you're one of the greats. Rest in peace young one.

Before I get into the review I want to define what an EP is for those that don't know. An EP stands for extended play. Music Review Single: Leslie Becker "Slow Burn"

Artist: Leslie Becker Single: Slow Burn In the beginning of this video we see Leslie walking down the street at night looking classy and ready for some fun. This song and the video reminds me a lot of the opening credits to a James Bond film. The song as well sounds like the next title track to the next James Bond film. It's hot, sultry and Leslie's voice is hypnotizing. What I like about the song is how the woman is in control. You see the men looking at her and she decides whether they get her attention or not. It's interesting because within the song and video there is a tease of mystery. She's not putting herself completely out there. This is apparent even through her vocals. It's like a "come and get me" but she decides when it goes further. I love how she sings, "I'm worth the wait" because it's an empowering statement. She knows her worth. Movie Review: Falling for Christmas

  Falling for Christmas Starring Lindsay Lohan, Chord Overstreet, and Jack Wagner She's back! First I want to say that I have always been a fan of Lindsay Lohan since "Parent Trap" and I am so happy to see her back on screen. Lindsay stars as Sierra Belmont, a rich heiress who proves that there is more to her than fancy designer clothes and daddy's money.  When I first heard the synopsis, I thought it was another version of "Overboard" originally starring Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell but I was wrong. It has its own rustic charm with its theme of family, tradition, and memorable keepsakes. We learn early on that Sierra lost her mother when she was very young and the snowglobe her mother treasured was the link to her memories of her mother. She clearly has a close relationship with her father (Jack Wagner) who is anything but a pushover parent.
