Heppner Photography: Pictures of a Lifetime

Capturing those special moments in your life is important so that years from now, you can look back on those memories with a fondness that will trail through your family for years to come. There are times that you want someone else to capture the moment because a selfie just won't do. Furthermore, you want to make sure you're part of that moment. After all, isn't that the point; to remember where you came from, where you're at, and where you're going.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words but there is no price to the value of a memory. Whether it is your engagement, wedding, child's baptism, Holy Communion, or special holiday, you want to trust someone who can exhibit how special that moment is in the frozen image of a photograph.
Heppner Photography does more than capture the moment; they make you feel the moment. Tiffany McCartney started Heppner Photography after photographing my wedding to my first husband. Needless to say, I was very happy with her work. Since then she has been hired for engagement photos, and family photos, in addition to weddings,

This image from a Holy Communion is exquisite. These two beautiful girls are shining with radiance as they sit at the feet of the Blessed Mother statue. The color from the flowers give the picture the perfect "pop" to catch your attention but not too much to deflect from the girls or the statue.

No family picture is complete without your babies, even your furry babies. Here you have a lovely couple with their dogs and your typical holiday setting; a nice fireplace, stockings, and big tree. Seeing that the husband isn't smiling, it makes for fun for the family to come up with different stories behind the no smiling but happy husband.

This lovely photo is from my wedding. My stepdad is walking me down the aisle and though you can't tell, I'm reminding myself not to fall on my heels. This is a great image of my stepdad and me which I will treasure always.

I absolutely love this picture from my sister, Samantha's wedding because our grandmother couldn't be there as she passed away in 2011. Samantha's dress looked more like a modern version of our grandmother's dress. With this photo, I feel Tiffany has truly expressed how much Mommom means to Samantha as well as how she was still a part of her wedding day.

Heppner Photography understands the use of color and the effect it has on an image. The full color version of this photo is beautiful but this coloration brings about a different type of mood. It exhibits Samantha's natural, classic beauty and the sunlight angles perfectly through her veil giving her that bridal glow. Truly breathtaking.
John and Samantha during their engagement photo session. I think pictures like this are the best moments captured in a session. You can see and feel why they are together. John makes Samantha laugh. I couldn't ask for a better match for my sister. You can almost hear Samantha's laughter in this picture. It takes a special photographer to catch spontaneous moments like this.

Where did all the people go? It takes a photographer to take a picture but it takes an artist to create a unique piece of art. The bodies may not be there but you can envision joy of the day. Tiffany is not afraid to try a pose or setting to see how it works. Art stirs feelings within you that grabs your attention and this is what Tiffany has done with this particular photo. This type of artistry is why she is the photographer for you.

.
My final favorite pick to share with all of you. Memories are about the love we share with others. You can see how much the bride's daughters love her in this picture and how happy they are for their mother. There is nothing more special than the love we share with one another.

The quality of work by Heppner Photography speaks for itself. Tiffany's personality shows through her work. She knows how important it is to have these sacred memories to look back on. It's not just about creating the perfect images, it's about the memories speaking through these images. The memories make the image with the help of a creative eye and loving heart.
When Tiffany moved from Pennsylvania to Florida, we truly lost a precious gem of a person and photographer but our loss is Florida's gain.
