The Return of Beverly Hills 90210 *Spoilers*

The new reboot of BH 90210 includes the original cast minus our beloved Luke Perry but more on that later. The premises of the new reboot is how the cast comes back together eventually beginning a reboot of the hit show. So how did this fresh new angle take? With me, very well.
Again I must emphasize the importance of treating reboots with delicate fingers. Why? The answer is simple. The fans.
Considering a reboot is a giant task to take on because you want the reboot to stand out. There are reboots that I feel failed considerably like Charmed. We don't need to reboot every successful series but I must say the group for BH 90210 has a clever approach.
If you've been keeping up with the real lives of the cast you will then recognize the storylines used such as Jennie's divorce from Peter Facinelli, Tori's marriage to Dean McDermott, Brian's marriage to Megan Fox, and so on and so forth. What you won't recognize are their spouses because they are farther from the truth. They also capitalize on a major piece of gossip that has been in the tabloids for years: Shannen's rocky to non-existent relationship with her castmates.
In the first part of the episode we see our cast members in their "everyday" life and how they got where they are in present day. One thing I did notice is that each cast member embodied the essence of their 90210 characters. I felt that Jennie's "true" behavior reflected that of Kelly just as Jason's reflected that of Brandon and how fans saw Brandon in the show.
The most comical portion of the episode is when Tori convinces everyone to help her steal Donna's famous red southern belle dress. Tori loses her head when she sees her face on a dog's t-shirt knowing she isn't getting royalties from the sale of those shirts. Another comical moment is when there is a young man at the "check-in" point for our stars and he asks for their name. Jennie gives her but he doesn't recognize her. She points to the poster beside him informing him she is the one and only Kelly Taylor. The man takes a look at her commenting "You look way older than her. I'm afraid I'll need some ID to know if the reservation is under Garth or Taylor." In all honesty we don't expect the young'ins to know this wonderful cast. They missed out.
Now for the most heartwarming aspect of the show: Mr. Luke Perry. With all the promos and previews, true fans of the show truly felt the absence of bad boy Dylan McKay played by the kind hearted gentleman, Luke Perry. As we all know, our hearts are still in denial of Luke's death a few months back and although he wasn't there you can feel his presence. The momentary toast to Luke on the plane and more importantly the closing scene of the episode which included one of Luke's many early scenes in the 90210 franchise; when Dylan brings Brandon to the beach to catch some waves. Our hearts break, our eyes well up with tears as we see the touching words appear as he spoke his lines "For our friend, Luke Perry."
To the creators of the reboot, thank you for giving the fans a chance to travel back in time with a cast we love so much.
To the BH 90210 cast: Gabrielle Carteris, Jennie Garth, Jason Priestley, Ian Ziering, Tori Spelling, Brian Austin Green, Shannen Doherty, and our beloved Luke Perry, thank you for giving us so many memories and lessons. Thank you for coming back to entertain us again. We love each of you as your loving, devoted fans.
To the strangers of the franchise, go watch the original, you'll understand our admiration and madness.

WELL DONE BH 90210 CAST AND CREW! I LOOK FORWARD TO THE NEXT EPISODE! WHY? BECAUSE I LOVE IT!
